Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s Mission has been moving at light speed with the initiation of more and more service projects, from healthcare to education systems, from ashrams to orphanages.When one of God’s main messages is, “Love My uncertainty,” it’s impossible to keep track of His work.

Under Bhagawan’s direct guidance, One World One Sai attempts to make the impossible possible by bringing you all the latest updates on events and service opportunities happening around the world. One World One Sai is a tool to empower your self-transformation by helping you stay connected and making it easier to render selfless service.

3. Why are we doing this?

“Hands that serve are holier than the lips that pray.” – Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba

Often, when we are inspired by Bhagawan’s love and message, we have the thought, “I want to help somehow.” But sometimes it can be difficult for a volunteer to find a service project and the momentum of the inspiration is lost. Sometimes, a project needs a particular skillset, but neither the organizers of the project, nor the owner of the skillset are aware of each other

Bhagawan’s grand plan is to unite people around the world so they can come together and serve based on their skillset, location and availability. Why One World One Sai? So that each of us can easily grab that moment of inspiration and connect with a service project that needs us. So that we can take steps to experience the Divine love and transformation of which our Lord speaks.

4. What is One World One Sai?

One World One Sai is a platform to unite youths across the world that have a common interest in the upliftment of humanity through acts of social service. Here we collaborate, communicate and connect to exchange and implement ideas to serve society. We aim to enhance your experience in planning and volunteering in social activities by using your unique skillset/expertise. One World One Sai is a tool to empower your self-transformation by helping you stay connected to like-minded youths and making it easier to render selfless service

5. Who is Sathya Sai Baba?

Sathya Sai Baba is an interfaith spiritual leader of Indian origin who has emphasized unity in diversity and that it is only through love that the divinity within can be experienced. He has been the guiding force behind One World One Sai and has directed the youths and young-at-heart of the world to use this platform to connect with other as brothers and sisters and serve society as a means to cultivate love and experience the divinity within.

"I have come to light the lamp of Love in your hearts, to see that it shines day by day with added lustre. I have not come on behalf of any exclusive religion. I have not come on a mission of publicity for a sect or creed or cause, nor have I come to collect followers for a doctrine. I have no plan to attract disciples or devotees into my fold or any fold. I have come to tell you of this unitary faith, this spiritual principle, this path of Love, this virtue of Love, this duty of Love, this obligation of Love." – Sathya Sai Speaks, Vol 8, Ch 22.

It is under Bhagawan’s direct command that One World One Sai has been created as a platform for the youth and young at heart to unite in the Brotherhood of Man and the Fatherhood of God. By registering, you have the opportunity to not only be part of Swami’s Mission of selfless service to society, but you also gain a community of like-minded travelers on the spiritual path.

How can I launch service activities my hometown? How can I engage on a global level? I would like to be more active, but don't know where and how to start.

As young people seeing so many amazing projects happening throughout the world that help so many people, we are inspired to get involved but sometimes don’t know how to do so.

Swami says, “Take one step towards me and I will take one hundred steps towards you.”

Having the desire to be involved can itself be your first step!

On Bhagawan"'"s direction, the main aim for One World One Sai is to connect the youth such as you to other youths across the world for doing service. If you have already registered on One World One Sai, then congratulations, you’ve taken more than one step on this path!

After registering, we recommend completing your Profile, General Settings and Your Skills sections, which will allow others in the system to search for you based on your skillset and contact you for their project if required. You can also start looking up your Sai friends in your country or around the world and "Follow" them. This way, you will be able to see the service activities that your friends join/comment about on your home page, further connecting you to more projects that you may wish to join. Additionally, you can also look into the "All Events" section for a list of all service events being created in the system, and connect with or message the organizer of the event in case you are interested.

For any service activities that you may already be part of, we encourage you to talk to the leader and have that service entered in One World One Sai. This way, your service project can reach other interested volunteers the same way you are looking for projects! Before you can create an event for your service project in One World One Sai, you will need to be verified by your country lead. If you wish to create events in the system, please let us know your country lead contact so we can reach out to them for verification.

If you have the desire to serve, you can pray to Bhagawan to guide you to a service project, then all you have to do is keep your heart and mind open as you go about your day to day life. Swami will surely answer your prayer and guide you to a project that needs your help or even inspire you to begin your own project to help others!
